Airmen from the Guam National Guard’s 254th Red Horse Squadron were sent off with prayers and well-wishes by the command team of Maj. Gen Esther Aguigui and Command Sgt. Maj. Celso Leonen, on Andersen Air Force Base on April 14.

“Anytime Guam goes anywhere in the world, we’re already in everyone’s favor. It’s because of the brand that we bring, and it’s because of those who have gone before you and solidified that brand. The Governor and myself, CSM Leonen, and all of your leadership want you to know, we will be with you in prayer, we will be with your families, and we bid you farewell and Godspeed,” said Aguigui.

The Airmen are deploying to the CENTCOM area of operations, to perform construction and infrastructure improvement-type missions.
