As a way to lift up spirits during this difficult time, the Guam National Guard’s 721st Army Band held their “Banding Together for Hope” concert at the Micronesia Mall.

Featuring hits from the ’70s and ’80s, along with a few modern pop songs, the band held the concert to make people happy and showcase the time they spent training.

Capt. Mark Scott, public affairs officer of the Guam National Guard, said: “That’s what this concert is for. It’s a way to come together, even though we’re practicing social distancing and protecting ourselves. It’s a way to come together and live our spirits. That was the intent and that’s our hope…that people will come out and be safe, but enjoy it at the same time.”
