Guam High Panthers Boys High School Baseball team pick up their 3rd win of the season against the JFK Islanders 8-0 on Sat, at their home turf, at Naval Hospital Baseball Field.

Already leading 3-0 in the bottom of the 5th inning.  Panther 3rd baseman Dominik Patilo-Avalos, with two on and two away, hit a 2rbi line drive single to center field off JFK Pitcher Gavin Lim that scored SS Gavin Gagucas and 2nd baseman, Jacob Castillo.  Patilo-Avalos would eventually score the 3rd run of the inning stealing third base, as the throw from Islanders catcher Allen Blend Jr was high and ended in left field.

Relief pitcher Panthers freshman Javy Concepcion got the win.  Concepcion went four innings, giving up two hits, two walks, no runs and striking out five. He also contributed offensively going 1 for 2 with 2 rbi’s in the 3rd inning.  Islanders Gavin Lee with the loss.

Starting pitcher Senior Curtis Bukikosa was 2-2 with a double and a rbi in the 2nd inning.  And Panther left fielder Brandon Tuquero was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 runs.

The Panthers are now 3-1.  Their only loss against the defending champions the FD Friars by a score of 5-3.
