Guam Homeland Security -Threat Level Not Raised After bin Laden’s Death


Guam – Guam’s Office of Homeland Security and Civil Defense has not raised the threat level in the wake of the killing of terrorist Osama bin Laden.
A statement from Civil Defense Spokeswoman Alyssa Benito states:

Although the Department of Homeland Security threat level, formally known as the National Terrorist Alert System (NTAS), has not been raised, Guam Homeland Security/Office of Civil Defense (GHS/OCD) asks that the public still remain ever vigilant as the effects of the death of Osama Bin Laden are yet unseen.  

Anyone seen witnessing suspicious activities should call Guam Homeland Security at 475-9600 or the Guam Police Department through the E911 center.
