Guam murder suspect arrested in Florida at the request of GPD

A man wanted for murder on Guam has been arrested by the US Marshals Task Force and the Bay County Sheriff’s Office in Panama City, Florida.

On June 7, 2021, the United States Marshal Service Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force, with the assistance of the Bay County Sheriff’s Office, arrested Nicholas Wayne Moore, age 23, of Guam.

According to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office, Moore was arrested at the request of the Guam Police Department. Moore was arrested on Panama City Beach at 4300 Bay Point Drive.

Moore is the suspect in an ongoing GPD investigation for murder, attempted murder, and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution on two separate cases.

According to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office, Moore’s apprehension was the culmination of a week-long coordinated effort by the United States Marshals Service (USMS), Guam Police, and the Bay County Sheriff’s Office to locate Moore.

Moore has been transported by the USMS to Tallahassee to await extradition back to Guam.
