Guam National player Tai Wesley Retires from professional basketball

Guam Mens National Basketball player 34 yr old Tai Wesley officially announced his retirement from the professional men’s basketball league in Australia and New Zealand the NBL.

Wesley along with his older brother’s Mekeli and Russell are members of the Guam Men’s National basketball team that went undefeated at the Fiba Asia Eastern Region Pre-Qualifiers back in 2018.  Team Guam is now vying for one of 16 slots in the upcoming 2021 FIBA Asia Cup which doubles as a qualifying tournament for the 2023 Basketball World Cup.

Wesley a two time NBL champion played forward for South East Melbourne Phoenix and and was contracted for their upcoming season.  Before making the decision to retire.
