Guam Public Auditor Doris Flores-Brooks Takes the Chair at PASAI

Guam – Governor Calvo is praising Guam Public Auditor Doris Flores-Brooks for her election as Chairwoman of the Pacific Association of Supreme Audit Institution’s [PASAI].

Governor Calvo says in a release that Flores-Brooks has “ushered in a new era of transparency and accountability as Guam’s first elected Public Auditor” and  “now, her peers throughout the region recognize her expertise in their field.  She will lead this organization to do better things here at home and all over the Pacific.”

PASAI is the official group of government auditing organizations throughout the region.  Members work to strengthen regional cooperation and share best practices with their peers. The group is holding its annual conference at the Sheraton in Tumon this week.

Brooks to lead organization of Pacific government auditors                                          
Governor Eddie Baza Calvo congratulates Public Auditor Doris Flores Brooks for starting her term as the Chairwoman of the Pacific Association of Supreme Audit Institution’s (PASAI) Governing Board.  The association is the official group of government auditing organizations throughout the region.  Members work to strengthen regional cooperation and share best practices with their peers.  Her service as chairwoman began today, at the start of PASAI’s conference right here on Guam.
