Guam – Guam Running Club President John Wesolowski was named Director of the Guam Ko’ko’ Road Race in a decision made by the Guam Visitors Bureau late last week.
Wesolowski, who started running in 2000, has completed seven marathons, numerous half-marathons and competed in last year’s Race in the Masters division. A member of GRC since 2002 and president for the past three years, Wesolowski has participated in the organization and setup of several races on Guam.
“This is my first experience directing a race as large as the Ko’ko’ Road Race but have ensured the smooth running of the GRC marathon and half-marathons,” Wesolowski said of his prior qualifications.
The starting signal of the Guam Ko’ko’ Road Race is set to go off at 5:00 a.m. Sunday, October 16 in front of the Guam Visitors Bureau on San Vitores Road, Tumon.
This exciting event would not be possible without the generous commitment of our sponsors.
