After Guam tennis history was made on Tuesday after the island’s Davis Cup team secured its first victory by sweeping Mongolia in both singles and doubles at the Sultan Qaboos Sport Complex in Muscat, Oman in the Middle East at the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas.
Guam did it again with a second-straight sweep this time against Turkmenistan!
Christopher Cajigan won his singles match 7-5, 7-5 against Atlymyrat Gurbanov.
Danny Llarenas won 7-6(6), 6-4 against Yuriy Roguskiy.
In doubles action, Mason Caldwell & JP Huynh won 7-6(6), 2-6, 6-1 securing the 3-0 sweep.
Guam seeds itself tied for 2nd with Bahrain whom they will also face next starting today at 4pm Guam time.
