Guam Symphony Society to Hold Seaside Holiday Concert on Sunday


The Guam Symphony Seaside Society will hold it’s annual seaside holiday concert on Sunday

Guam – This Sunday bring your family down to the outdoor amphitheater at the Ypao beach park for the Guam Symphony Society’s annual seaside concert.


 The concert starts at 3pm and lasts until sundown. Guam Symphony Society Music Director and Conductor Steve Bednarzyk says the concert will feature groups like the Mangilao Hot Jazz, Safe Sax the Latte Tones the Guam Symphony and Orchestra and others. Bednarzyk says it’s a very family friendly event. “There’s a picnic basket competition in various categories if you want to bring a picnic basket and enter into it and do something really exciting and flamboyant also Santa Claus will show up on a carabao around 4:30 and toss candy at some of the kids over there so it’s a really fun afternoon for everyone involved,” said Bednarzyk.


 “It’s just a fun filled family event it’s a safe event and we encourage people to come down and enjoy music all of the different variety of musicians that we will have there that afternoon,” said Guam Symphony Society Board Secretary Sam Mabini. The seaside concert is open to the public and there is no charge for entry.
