Guam – Guam has taken home the crown in one of the first male teenage pageants in the Pacific.

There were ten contestants from ten different countries around the Pacific competing for the honor to be crowned Mister Global Teen. Out of all the contestants Guam’s very own Kein Artero rose to the top taking home the crown.

“I took this not knowing anything about this because this was my first time in a pageant and it was a great experience, especially going out to international pageant and i hope most teens like me…I wasn’t ever going to do this. I am glad I took the opportunity that they gave me. I feel like it opened up many doors,”shared Artero

16- year old Artero is a sophomore at Father Duenas Memorial School, who enjoys playing sports such as footbal, rugby, motocross and jiu-jitsu.

According to Mister Global Teen Guam National Director Linda Salas, he was chosen because of his debonair good looks and physical fitness.

She stated, “I am elated to have Kein represent Guam as our ambassador.”

Congratulations, Kein!
