Guam will join the nationwide March for Life rally on Friday, Jan. 24, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral Basilica in Hagåtña.
The March For Life is an annual march/rally held in Washington D.C. to protest both the practice of abortion and its legality.
It takes place on or around the anniversary of Roe V Wade, January 22, 1973, the landmark Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion.
The movement has gained tremendous encouragement and effectiveness in the mission of the Catholic Church and all other religions who believe in the sacredness of all human life.
Marches and other rally events are also being practiced worldwide mimicking the tenets of Roe V Wade March in Washington D.C.
Every year in Guam, the Pro-Life Committee is also committed to the cause, to protest against abortion, and protect babies and all human life from conception to natural death.
Guam’s March on Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, is in line with the National March in Washington D.C.
