Guam – The Guam Under-13 Boys’ National Soccer Team opened the 2011 AFC U-13 Boys’ Festival of Football with a bang, defeating Macau 2-0, before losses to China and DPR Korea rounded off an Easter Sunday full of action.
Jestin Escobar notched both goals as Guam defeated Macau in the morning match. Guam didn’t fare as well in the afternoon matches, losing 7-0 to China and 3-0 to DPR Korea.
The matches consist of one 30-minute period and continue today when Guam plays Mongolia at 10:20 a.m. (12:20 p.m. Guam time). Guam also plays Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong later this afternoon.
