This year, to help best prepare our students for their futures, the office of Congressman Michael San Nicolas has arranged to connect Guam’s potential service academy nominees with representatives of all service academies.

On November 12th, 2020 at 2 pm CHST, the session will be held on zoom https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89471143130?pwd=Z20xNFBheUR2ejZ6MkhRRG9xT1RaZz09

Meeting ID: 894 7114 3130
Passcode: 573299

The virtual info session will be held to allow for applicants to engage critically and meaningfully with various alumni and instructors of the United States Armed Forces.

Following the December 11th application deadline, candidates with complete applications will move forward in the selection process for an interview scheduled on a day between December 16th and 18th.

Further information about eligibility and application requirements for candidates are provided at https://sannicolas.house.gov/services/military-academy-nominations.

As a member of Congress, San Nicolas said one of the most rewarding opportunities he has is that of nominating Guam’s youngest and brightest to the United States Air Force Academy, Merchant Marine Academy,  Military Academy, and Naval Academy.

These service academies provide the highest standard of undergraduate education and training of commission officers across the nation, and every year, eligible students undergo a rigorous application process in order to represent our island.

“It is an honor to serve Guam’s youth, and I wish them all the best as they pursue their goals of attending one of the U.S. Service Academies, serving our country, and setting themselves on these paths of virtue,” San Nicolas said in a news release.
