Guam – Soldiers from the Guam Army National Guard will be conducting a roadside clean up of Army Drive (Route 16) Friday, June 15, from 6 a.m. through 8 a.m.
Guam Guard Soldiers will be picking up trash and debris along both sides of Army Drive from the tri-intersection of Routes 8, 10, and 16 in Barrigada, to the Micronesia Mall.
The clean-up is a quarterly event for the Guam National Guard and conducted as part of its community service and beautification effort. More than 100 Soldiers are expected to be working along the designated clean-up route.
Motorists are asked to slow down and exercise extreme caution as they drive through this portion of Army Drive, from the intersection of Routes 8, 10 and Army Drive onto the intersection at Route 1, especially when they see Guam Guard Soldiers working along the roadside.
Guam Guard Soldiers can be identified by their grey t-shirt with a large black letter “A” and black shorts.
