Dr. Judith P. Guthertz has resigned from the Consolidated Commission on Utilities.
In a letter to CCU chairman Joey Duenas and her fellow commissioners, Guthertz said she is resigning due to family and other unforeseen matters.
Her resignation is effective immediately.
“It has been my pleasure to serve our island by serving with you as a member of the Commission. Collectively, we have endeavored to work hard to provide strong leadership to assist GPA and GWA on behalf of the ratepayers of Guam. I’ve enjoyed working with each of you,” Guthertz wrote in her resignation letter.
Duenas has already informed the Guam Election Commission of the vacancy in the CCU.
