GVB Board Chairman Sonny Ada accepted the resignation of Vice Chairman Bobby Alvarez Thursday afternoon. Gerry Perez has been named to replace him as VP.
This was the last GVB meeting for outgoing CEO Pilar Lagauna. Former Gov. Carl Gutierrez has been appointed interim CEO.
Speaker Tina Muna Barnes presented Laguana with a Legislative resolution at the start of the meeting thanking her for her more than 40 years of service to the island’s tourism industry.
