Guam – Representatives from the Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) Board of Directors attended the DFS Group Limited 50th Anniversary Celebration in Hong Kong in honor of the major milestone in the company’s history.
GVB Chairman of the Board David B. Tydingco, Vice-Chairman Jim Beighley, and board member Bruce Kloppenburg presented a hand-carved proa to company executives in honor of the anniversary during their stay from Nov. 5-7.
“DFS Galleria has helped make Guam a world-class visitor destination by investing in Guam and showcasing luxury brands in our resort area of Tumon and at A.B. Won Pat Guam International Airport, which helps attract thousands of visitors each year,” said GVB Acting General Manager Ernie A. Galito. “The company also employs thousands of local residents throughout our region during its history. DFS has helped develop our industry economy here in numerous ways.”
