GW Accepting Applications for Summer School Until Thursday


Guam – Now that summer break has officially begun  George Washington High School is reminding parents that students who have failed a class or are lacking credits have the opportunity to catch up during summer school.

George Washington High School Summer Session Principal Luz Annette Payumo says applications for summer school are being accepted until Thursday June 13 at 3pm. 

“Summer school is not an opportunity to get ahead,” Payumo told PNC.  “Its for students who have failed a class or are lacking credits.”

Orientation for the summer program will be held on Friday at 8am in the GWHS gymnasium.  Classes will begin next Monday June 17 at 7:25.  Breakfast is included in the program and will be served from 7am to 7:25 each morning.  For more information call the school at 734-2900 or 300-3109.  During the summer months the school office will be open from 8am to to 3pm.
