Guam Waterworks Authority (GWA) will begin a controlled reopening of their facilities, starting Thursday, May 14, according to GWA General Manager Miguel Bordallo.
Beginning this Thursday, GWA will open facilities for weekday walk-in traffic at the following locations:
Fadian (Gloria B. Nelson Public Service Building) from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Upper Tumon (located behind GTA) from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Julale Center from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Customers 55 and older, persons with disabilities and veterans will receive priority line access at all locations on Tuesdays and Thursdays only until noon.
The GWA Customer Care team will be providing full customer service at the Fadian and Upper Tumon locations, while customers can only make payments at the Julale location.
Customers may also receive assistance for any services provided at GWA facilities by simply calling 647-7800 or emailing customers@guamwaterworks.org.
For customer convenience, drive through locations will also be available Monday through Friday at the Fadian location from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the Upper Tumon location from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Drive through locations will accept cash, check and credit card payments for utility bills and payment plans only.
The GWA engineering and permits division will be open by appointment only at the Fadian location and can be contacted at 300-6857 or engineering@guamwaterworks.org.
All entering GPWA facilities are required to wear a face mask, maintain social distancing of six feet at all times, and will be subject to a mandatory temperature screening. Customers experiencing symptoms of fever, cough or shortness of breath are kindly asked to refrain from entering GPWA premises. Due to social distancing requirements, access to facilities is limited to customers only.
“We thank our customers in advance for their cooperation and patience in helping to keep our community safe as we reopen our facilities,” said Bordallo. “We would also like to remind and encourage our customers to take advantage of our secure remote payment options, including pay-by-phone, online, and our mobile app.”
