Guam – The Guam Waterworks Authority has announced that crews will be conducting a smoke test on wastewater lines in the village of Umatac starting Thursday.
The smoke tests will be conducted from the southern section of the village to Joseph A Cruz Street.
In a release, GWA Compliance and Safety Officer Paul Kemp advises that “Smoke may be seen coming from various areas in the village … this is a non hazardous emission,” Kemp states.
The smoke tests will conducted on Thursday and Friday of this week. They will resume Monday and Tuesday of next week. The testing will be conducted between 8 and 4 pm daily.
