GWA: Emergency Water Outage ALL DAY for Parts of Yona, Manengon, Ylig to Togcha

Guam – The Guam Waterworks Authority this moning [Friday] announced that water is out for parts of Yona, the lower part of Manengon, Ylig and all the way to the Togcha Cemetery.

A 12 inch water main has broken and crews are in the process of fixing it.

GWA Spokeswoman Heidi Ballendorf says due to the size and nature of the break water will be out ALL DAY.

Restoration is not expected until 6 pm this evening.

A water tanker has already been placed at the Seminarian compound which is located across Agoun’s St  just past the Ylig bridge headed South bound on left side going uphill.

GWA announces a 12 inch water main break. Water is out in the following areas: Parts of Yona village, lower part of Manengon , Ylig  all the way to Tocha Cemetery.

 

Due to the size and nature of the break water will be out ALL DAY until 6 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2011.  A water tanker has already been placed at the Seminarian compound. This is located across Agoun’s St  just past the Ylig bridge headed South bound on left side going uphill.
