Guam – One GWA employee has now been formally charged with drug possession following last Friday’s drug sweep at GWA in Harmon.
Last Friday GWA said two employees had been arrested, but GPD Monday said no arrests were made and only 2 were detained for questioning.
Now, one of those detained has been formally charged, he is Jesse Joseph Wustig Cruz. He was charged in Superior Court Thursday afternoon with possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance.
According to the Magistrates report, during the sweep, a K-9 detector dog showed an interest in a locked personnel locker assigned to Cruz at GWA’s store-keeper warehouse.
Officers “opened the locker and discovered a pouch containing one modified glass pipe with suspected ‘Ice’ residue.” A filed test resulted in a “presumptive positive reading for methamphetamine.”
