GWA: Water Restored to Most Parts of Tumon; Outrigger Still Out

159

Guam – The Guam Waterworks Authority has announced that repairs have been completed ahead of schedule and water has been restored to those parts of Tumon that lost it following an emergency water outage declared earlier today [Wednesday].

The initial area affected by a broken water line was between the bottom of  JFK hill to the Westin Hotel.

However, Spokeswoman Heidi Ballendorf reports that GWA crews have managed to restore water to most of the area.

But, she says the Outrigger Hotel “is still experiencing water issues.” She does not expect full restoration to the Outrigger until 6 p.m. this evening.
