As of March 10 of this year, the Leon Guerrero-Tenorio Administration has released approximately $108 thousand in mortgage payments to lenders and approximately $10 thousand in utility payments on behalf of homeowners through the Guam Homeowner Assistance Fund Program.
Another $3,902 in due property taxes also will be paid for property owners impacted by the pandemic.
In total, the Administration has distributed nearly $122,000 in HAF aid.
The Guam HAF program launched on January 31st of this year and is administered by the Department of Administration. The program aims to assist homeowners struggling to pay their mortgages, utilities, or property taxes due to the impacts of the pandemic.
In total, qualified homeowners may receive assistance of up to $15,000 in direct aid for lenders and utilities.
