Guam – Senator Tommy Morrison’s motorcycle helmet law proposal will have its public hearing this Thursday, June 13, at 5:30pm in the Legislative Hearing Room.
Bill #87 would require all motorcycle riders to wear a helmet.
It was originally scheduled for a hearing on May 28th but it had to be cancelled due to a Legislative Session that was called on that day.
Senator Morrison introduced the bill following the death of his brother, Troy Morrison, who was killed February 21 when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed along Route 4, in front of the Agat Transfer Station. He was not wearing a helmet.
