High Portfolio Investment Managers Give Favorable Outlook on Economy

So what is the state of the global economy? Seven world class investment speakers shared their thoughts with the Rotary Club of Tumon Bay.

Guam – “The outlook for commercial real estate actually looks pretty strong at this point,” CBRE Clarion Senior Vice President Dana Tapp told Rotarians.

During a Rotary Club of Tumon Bay meeting today investment expert Dana Tapp said interest rates in commercial real estate are low right now and the supply is limited. Both are positives for commercial property investments.

While there isn’t much activity from publicly traded companies in Guam, Tapp says the market is very strong in the surrounding areas right now.

Tapp is one of seven investment managers brought to Guam by Morgan Stanley this week.

With the U.S. market starting to get stronger, Atlanta Sosnoff Capital Management Senior Vice President Kamani Kuala’au predicts the Gross Domestic Product will increase and the federal government will see more tax revenue.

Many of the investors expect economic growth in the U.S., Japan, and Europe but Parker Jones of Brandes Investment Partners told the Rotarians to also look for opportunities in China, Russia, and Brazil.
