Young Soon Chang was caught trying to board a flight to the U.S. mainland. 

Guam – The 19 year old home invader that police have been seeking has been caught.

According to Guam Police Department Public Information Officer Paul Tapao Officers from GPD’s Criminal Investigation Division arrested Young Soon Chang at 3:03 Saturday morning. Chang is described as being of Korean and Vietnamese descent. Chang was caught while trying to check into a flight to the U.S. mainland. A ticket agent at the Guam International Airport caught him and immediately notified the Guam Airport Police. Chang has been booked and confined. The case has been forwarded to the Guam Attorney General’s office. Chang was wanted for a home invasion on 12/29/15 at the Tumon Manner.

3:03 in the morning, officers from GPD’s Criminal Investigation Division arrested YOUNG SOON CHANG /M/KOR/19YOA for the following offenses:
-Robbery/Home Invasion/Burglary/ Assault

YOUNG SOON CHANG (aka: Peter Chang) was wanted for a Home Invasion incident that occurred on 12/29/15 at the Tumon Manner,  located in Tumon.

Now on 1/16/16 just around 12:05 in the morning, CHANG was identified trying to check into a flight to the US mainland by a ticket agent at the Guam International Airport. Immediately Airport Police were notified in which CHANG was detained  and later relinquished to GPD case agents.  CHANG was later Booked and Confined at the Guam Detention Facility.  This case has been forwarded to the Guam Attorney Generals Office for their disposition. The Guam Police Department would like to thank the community for their assistance relative to this case.
