UPDATE: USGS has downgraded the earthquake to a magnitude 5.8.

Press Release – The Office of Guam Homeland Security/Office of Civil Defense announced an earthquake recorded for November 15, 2017. Read the press release below for more information.

“The U.S. Geological Survey recorded a magnitude 6.0 earthquake that struck 153 km W of Merizo, Guam, with a depth of 50.5 km, at 10:24 a.m.

There were no reports made to E-911 dispatch of damages or injuries from the earthquake.
