Guam – The Guam Hospital Development Foundation which continues its own efforts to build a private hospital on Guam, is also continuing its appeal for donations to the island’s financially troubled public hospital, GMH.
A release from Guam Healthcare & Hospital Development Foundation President Pete Sgro specifically calls for donates of medications.
Sgro states: “Guam Memorial Hospital … continues to experience seriously low levels of certain supplies and medications necessary for patient care.” And he appeals to “off-island affiliates or contacts, employees, families or friends” who are in a position to donate medications to contact Guam Memorial Hospital through its Head Pharmacist, Mr. Mike Lin who can be reached at (671)647-2146. Sgro says Lynn “is familiar with the necessary documentation that needs to be completed before shipment of medications in interstate commerce, especially medications considered as “controlled substances.”
“The Guam Memorial Hospital’s address for purposes of Express Mail, DHL or Fed Ex is 850 Governor Carlos G. Camacho Road, Tamuning, 96913.”
“For other information related to donations of supplies or medications to the hospital, contact the hospital’s Public Information Officer, Connor Murphy at (671) 929-4143.
“If you would like to make a donation of funds to our Foundation or supplies so that our Foundation can continue to provide the support our only “civilian hospital needs, please email our Vice-President Mr. David Silva at email@example.com and courtesy copy me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
