The island community is working together to help our brothers and sisters in Saipan, from boot drives, to donations, to concerts.
Guam – If you’re into moving and grooving, there is a local musicians-driven event called the Support Saipan Relief Concert sponsored by Sorensen Media Group’s radio stations 99.5 The Shark and Power 98.
SMG Sales and Promotions Executive Kai the Pinay says, “When I first saw this on Facebook Shiabe Pangelinan was calling out to local musicians asking hey who wants to volunteer their time to put together a concert and we’ll donate the proceeds to Saipan Relief Efforts. It was just a Facebook call out so I messaged him and I said I want our station to take part in this.”
The series of concerts starts tonight at The Venue, then tomorrow at The Joint and Club Icon on Sunday. Catch your favorite local bands and support Saipan’s relief efforts.
Kai says, “There’s a $10 cover charge. They’re also accepting nonperishable clothing and make sure it’s clean!”
