Hunting license expiration date extended

73

Department of Agriculture’s Division of Aquatic and Wildlife Resources (DAWR) will extend the expiration of the Fiscal Year (FY) 20 hunting licenses to January 31, 2021.

Only those with a current FY 20 hunting license or an FY 21 hunting license will be authorized to hunt. To limit public interactions, FY 21 hunting licenses will be sold by appointment only.

Hunters will not be required to use deer tags. The regulation will be suspended for this season in order to ease the financial obligation of paying for tags.

Hunting is permitted on Government of Guam properties as well as private property, with the landowner’s written permission.

ALL SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES MUST BE FOLLOWED.

Hunting groups should be limited in size to a maximum congregation of five people, in compliance with Executive Order 2020-36.

During hunting outings, wear personal protective equipment to keep yourself safe. Keep a distance of six feet or more between yourself and anyone else.

For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 735-0289/82/91/94 or email DAWR at dawr@doag.guam.gov.
