IHOP also announced that they will be opening a second location soon.
Guam – In their continuing effort to spread the Hafa Adai spirit through a pledge, the Guam Visitors Bureau welcomed three popular restaurants to their growing list of participants.
The latest restaurants to take the Hafa Adai Pledge are ones you’ve probably been to, IHOP, Applebee’s and the newest one to open, Pieology Pizzeria. All three are located in Tamuning and are famous with locals and tourists alike.
IHOP General Manager Jenn Lloyd says they will be opening up a second location in Tumon soon.
Pieology General Manager Champ Camacho talks about their pillars.
“At Pieology, we have four pillars and two of our pillars of our restaurant are community outreach and guest engagement. So with this Hafa Adai pledge it does solidify that we can customize the way that we engage with our guests. We already greet them through the door with a hafa adai,” says Camacho.
GVB is now in its seventh year of promoting the Hafa Adai Pledge. They now have over 600 participants from private businesses, government agencies, non-profits and other organizations.
