III Marine Expeditionary Band Coming to Help Celebrate 67th Guam Liberation

Guam – The Marine Corps Band will join in the celebration of the 67th Anniversary of Guam’s liberation from Japanese occupation during World War II.

The III Marine Expeditionary Force Band from Okinawa, Japan, will perform at various locations throughout the island July 19th through July 21st.

The Marine Corps invites residents to bring their families and and join them for the free performances listed below:

Tuesday – 19 July
•9 a.m. Fena Massacre Memorial — Old Agat Cemetery
•11 a.m. Yona Senior Center — Yona
•11 a.m. Merizo Senior Center — Merizo
•6 p.m. Guam Premium Outlets Food Court – Tamuning

Wednesday – 20 July
•10:30 a.m. Astumbo Senior Center — Dededo
•7:30 p.m. Joint concert with the Guam Symphony Orchestra — Liberation
Carnival Main Stage, Hagåtña

Thursday – 21 July
•10 a.m. 67th Liberation Day Parade
