Guam – The Guam Election Commission announces that In-Office Voting for the 2016 Primary Election has begun.
In-Office Voting was made available beginning today for voters who are unable to personally go to the polls and vote on Election Day. The primary election is scheduled for Saturday August 27th from 7 am to 8 pm. If a person is unable to go to the polls because of illness or physical disability, service in the Armed Forces or Merchant Marine of the United States, employment with GovGuam, attendance in an institution of learning, the conduct of your business or necessary travel, or accompanying your spouse who is engaged in any activity listed, that person is eligible for In-Office Voting. The GEC Conference Room in the GCIC Building in Hagatna will be open from 8 am to 5 pm for In-Office Voting. The last day for In-Office Voting is on Friday, August 26th.
