However relatively dry weather is expected.
Guam – The National Weather Service expects moisture to increase over the weekend.
In its 7-day Guam/Saipan Forecast Table updated on 3:58 AM this morning, NWS predicts probability of precipitation to increase by 10% to remain in 20% chance of rain starting Saturday night.
However, NWS says that the dry weather is still expected over the weekend. In its Area Forecast Discussion released on 7:31 AM, NWS explains, “GFS, ECMWF and NAGEM show weak Convergence across the area Saturday and they also portray a week trough moving across the Marianas Monday through Tuesday. While these features may produce a few more clouds still only expect isolated showers to prevail because of the lack of deep moisture.”
