The National Weather Service is forecasting increasing showers and thunderstorms over the weekend.
The weather service reports that an upper level low west of the Marianas is generating a few thunderstorms across the region and showers are moving into the area as a surface trough approaches from the east.
Forecasters say the trough will move to the west Saturday and the showers should gradually subside.
