Tamuning, Guam – (April 15) – Sister companies IP&E and IT&E, in partnership with the Filipino Community of Guam (FCG), have presented the Guam Chapter of American Red Cross with a donation of $25,000 to support its relief efforts for victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
Chita Blaise, CEO of the American Red Cross – Guam Chapter stated, “These contributions will also provide cash grants to stimulate their economy and for us, it’s our philosophy to be a part of the healing process for all those victimized by disaster”.
“Our relief effort was only made possible through the direct support of our employees and the Filipino Community of Guam,” said Jennifer Joy Santos, IT&E General Manager and Executive Marketing Director. “The response that followed from our local community was overwhelming and truly inspiring,” added Santos. Leah Beth Nahalowaa, President of the Filipino Community of Guam added further, “We thank IP&E and IT&E for their generosity and we look forward to working closely with your sister companies again on other Filipino community projects.”
