Isla Petroleum & Energy Announces Arrival of First Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel to Guam

Guam – Isla Petroleum &Energy (IP&E) has announced the arrival of the first shipment of Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel [ULSD] fuel on Guam.

Under a recently passed law, ULSD will be required on island effective January 1st.

IP&E  plans a ceremony Friday at the Sea Plane Ramp at 2 pm on the Glass Breakwater to celebrate the arrival of the new fuel.

A release from the company states that the new fuel is an important step in the transformation to a cleaner, greener Guam.

IP&E is the region’s newest participant in the petroleum industry. The company recently purchased the retail assets and the license to sell Shell products on Guam, Saipan and Palau via 26 retail locations.

In addition, IP&E offers bulk fuel, aviation and marine fuels and lubricants.
