Guam – As residents lined up at their polling placing to mark their ballots today, thousands also gathered at cemeteries throughout the island to pray for their loved ones who have passed on.

It’s All Souls Day, a day the Catholic Church has set aside to commemorate the faithful departed.  The Archdiocese of Agana held masses in its Catholic Cemeteries throughout the day.  Those with loved ones buried on the Navy Base were able to make arrangements to attend mass at the Sumay Cemetery as well.
