IT&E helps out victims of Philippine typhoons

IT&E donated $1,000 to support the Filipino Community of Guam’s relief efforts for the victims of Typhoons Rolly and Ulysses in the Philippines. IT&E Guam and CNMI raised a total of $3,600 in company and subscriber donations for the victims of Typhoons Rolly and Ulysses in the Philippines. Funds raised will support relief efforts by local organizations.

IT&E held a text-to-donate campaign for both Guam and CNMI subscribers from November 18 to 26, 2020. IT&E matched subscriber donations in both regions, with $1,000 raised in Guam to support relief efforts by the Filipino Community of Guam; and $2,600 raised in the CNMI for relief efforts by the Office of the Philippine Honorary Consul to the CNMI Glicero “Eli” Arago and the United Filipino Organization in the CNMI.

Super Typhoon Rolly (also known as Typhoon Goni) and Typhoon Ulysses (also known as Typhoon Vamco) battered the Philippines on October 31 and November 11, respectively. Hundreds of thousands have been affected by the devastation.
