IT&E joins Make-A-Wish Guam and CNMI to spread hope and joy

IT&E partnered with Make-A-Wish Guam and CNMI to continue the organization’s mission of creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

IT&E granted a portion of the wish of 13-year-old Tawnya by donating two iPhone 11’s so that she can communicate with her family on Guam while she is receiving treatment off-island.

“We’re delighted to work with Make-A-Wish Guam and CNMI to keep this courageous young girl connected to her family. We’re proud to be a partner with an organization that has made a difference in the lives of so many children in Guam and the Marianas,” said Jim Oehlerking, CEO of IT&E.

“It’s a crazy world we live in these days. With a majority of our wishes on hold indefinitely, we were certainly glad to grant Tawnya’s wish of having iPhone 11s for herself, parents and siblings. It was a challenge to pull this off because of Tawnya being in Los Angeles for treatment and her dad and siblings being here in Guam. We’re grateful for the assistance from Tawnya’s social worker and from IT&E’s donation of two of the seven iPhones,” said Eric Tydingco, President/CEO Make-A-Wish Guam and CNMI.

IT&E unites with organizations like Make-A-Wish to build a strong community dedicated to alleviating hardships and helping its people thrive.

IT&E has been delivering connections that matter in Guam and the Marianas for more than 35 years. IT&E is the leading provider of mobile technology and world-class telecommunications services on the widest 4G LTE data network.
