Japan’s Ehara and Katayama capture doubles crown of the 2018 King’s Guam Futures Tennis Tournament

No. 1 Hiroyasu Ehara and Sho Katayama captured the doubles crown of the 2018 King’s Guam Futures, an ITF Pro Circuit event presented by Docomo Pacific and Hilton Guam Resort & Spa Saturday at the Hilton tennis courts.

Ehara and Katayama defeated Australia’s Thomas Fancutt and Jake Delaney in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3 for the 2018 title. Following the championship match, both teams were presented champions and runner-up prizes in a short awards ceremony on Court No. 1.

Ehara and Katayama have teamed up in several tournaments, winning four doubles title in Futures events beginning in 2014 at the Turkey F15 Futures. Earlier this year, the pair also won the doubles title at the Kofu International Open Tennis 2018 (Japan F3 Futures).
