Guam – Fifty students from Kadan Automotive School in Japan visited Guam Community College on March 11, taking part in a cultural exchange with GCC students studying the Japanese language and touring GCC’s Automotive and Autobody shops.
The visit brought to fruition an inter-institutional cooperative statement for educational exchange signed between Dr. Mary Okada, GCC president, and Shigehiro Tsunokawa, Kadan CEO, in October 2013.
The exchange encourages faculty and students from GCC and Kadan to visit the other institution’s schools to learn about the automotive industry from the Japanese/American point of view.
