Jerry James Balatico Accused of Threatening to “Shoot Everyone” at Harmon Dialysis Center


Guam – 44-year-old Jerry James Balatico has been arrested on charges of terrorizing and criminal mischief after police say he threatened to bring a gun into the Kidney Dialysis Center in Harmon and “shoot everyone.”

According to Guam Police Department Spokesman Officer AJ Balajadia Balatico made the threats after becoming upset when he needed to be administered a second IV. 

Balajadia says staff at the Dialysis Center reported that Baltico previously told a staff member that he carries an unregistered firearm in his vehicle.  He is charged with Terrorizing and Criminal Mischeif.

Officers from the Tumon/Tamuning Precinct responded to a Terrorizing complaint at the Kidney Dialysis Center, Harmon.

A patient of the Dialysis Center being treated became upset when the medical staff could not combine his medication which meant that he needed to be administered a second I.V. It was reported he then made physical gestures the he was going to assault the staff then walked to the RP’s door and punched it several times. As he left the center he made a verbal threat that he was going to return with a gun and shoot everyone.

He was also reported to make comments  to a staff member a week prior that because of all the recent robberies, he carries an unregistered firearm in his vehicle.

The Criminal Justice Strike Force located Mr. Jerry James Balatico,m/Palauan/44, at his residence in Dededo.  He was arrested and charged with;

Terrorizing and Criminal Mischief. He was booked and confined.
