JFK employee tests positive for COVID-19

The Guam Department of Education (GDOE) on Thursday confirmed an individual tested positive for COVID-19.

This individual has been identified as an employee assigned to John F. Kennedy High School.

The GDOE, in collaboration with DPHSS, has identified and notified the individuals who were in close contact with this individual.

This individual will remain in quarantine until they are cleared by DPHSS to return to school.

Areas of the school campus have been cleaned and disinfected in preparation for regular hours of operation.

Regular hours of operation will resume on Friday, July 30, 2021.
