Public Health Gives JFK Final OK to Open MONDAY; But Sanitary Permit Has Restrictions


Guam – Public Health’s Division of Environmental Health has signed off on the final permit John F. Kennedy High School needed to open on MONDAY.

Acting Administrator for the Division, Cynthia Naval, told PNC News that her staff  finished its inspection this morning and recommended that a Sanitary Permit be issued, with restrictions.

She noted that there are several areas and rooms at the school that are not complete and will be restricted from use. Those areas include the gym, the dance room, the band room, and the GCC culinary classroom. 

However Naval said that she has issued the Sanitary Permit to JFK, with the restrictions, based on the recommedations of her staff.
