HARMON, GUAM – JFK come away the winners of the first-ever, boys high school soccer pre-season tournament at GFA’s National Training Center. JFK hold off a comeback by Southern High in a 6-4 victory, to take the rre-season honors. Devan Mendiola led all scorers with a hat trick and teammates Eddie Cho, Noah Duenas, and Takumi Ito also scored. Francisco Aquiningoc, Trevin Gonzales, Christopher Bulala, and Seth Surber scored for Southern, all in the second half. The IIAAG 2016 Boys Soccer season kicks off this Wednesday with games all over the island. FD will travel to Okkodo High Field to play Sanchez. The Okkodo Bulldogs play the Tiyan High Titans. Southern High travel to Mangilao to meet up with the Guam High Panthers at the GW Field, and The JFK Islanders will host GW in Tamuning.
