Joe Pereira Is Bank of Guam’s Newest Vice President


Hagatna, Guam –  The Bank of Guam Board of Directors, Management and Staff are pleased to announce that Joe Pereira has been promoted to Vice President/Senior Project Manager.

Pereira is an alumnus of Father Duenas Memorial School, and received his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Computer Systems Engineering in 2006.  He has earned several Microsoft certifications including the Certified Professional Developer Certifications.  

Pereira started as a Software Engineering Consultant for Avanade Inc. (Accenture/Microsoft) in San Francisco, earning successive promotions to Software Engineering Project Manager.  

In October 2011, Pereira joined the Bank of Guam as Assistant Vice President/Project Manager and was recently promoted to Assistant Vice President/Senior Project Manager.  In July 2013, Pereira earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) credential.
