Guam –  Local media icon Jon Anderson has agreed to return to PNC News as “Consulting Editor”.

Anderson launched the Pacific News Center in February 2006 when he served as the first News Director and Anchor.

He has agreed to come back as a “Consulting Editor” to provide guidance to PNC’s daily news coverage and editorial oversight for the PNC News website.

“I started PNC News in 2006, so this is like coming home”, said Anderson.  “I’m looking forward to this new opportunity to get involved with Guam news and the outstanding news professionals at PNC”

Anderson brings with him more than 40 years of experience in the media on Guam and in Saipan, including host of the K-57 Breakfast Show and mostly recently as Editor-in-Chief of the Marianas Variety, a position he stepped down from just last month.

The Pacific News Center is pleased to welcome Jon Anderson back into our fold, and PNC looks forward to the important contributions he will make to the news team.
